You don’t need to be in crisis to be in therapy.
Therapy can be a space to grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself — not just survive hard moments.

Ebony M. Watson, LCSW, is a licensed clinical therapist, speaker, and educator who helps individuals and organizations navigate stress, trauma, and life transitions with clarity, compassion, and practical tools for lasting change.

With over eight years of experience, Ebony specializes in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, grief, and major transitions—often high-achieving professionals and caregivers who spend so much time caring for others that they forget to care for themselves. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care with strengths-based and creative methods, including walk-and-talk therapy, expressive arts, and music, helping clients reconnect with their resilience and sense of self.

A first-generation college graduate, Ebony brings both clinical expertise and lived understanding to her work. She provides counseling, crisis support, workplace wellness programming, and facilitates workshops and trainings on resilience, mental health, and employee well-being. She also teaches and mentors graduate-level social work students.

Her commitment to healing extends globally. While studying at the University of Cape Town, Ebony volunteered with the nonprofit Young in Prison, providing counseling services inside Pollsmoor Prison to incarcerated men and women. This experience continues to shape her restorative, culturally responsive, and community-centered approach.

Whether working one-on-one with clients or speaking to organizations, Ebony is known for creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
